The Story of Daisy

Daisy was already at the auction when we arrived that morning. She was at the end of a section of standing stalls against the main center aisle of the auction. Rob, a CDHR volunteer, went to the auction that morning “knowing” there was a Daisy waiting for us to find her. As soon as he spotted her, he knew it was her. It was impossible not to be drawn into her at the auction. She stood out like a ray of light. She was so quiet, never batted an eye at anything going on around her, even when horses around her got riled up. Every time any of us went to check on her she would just cuddle her head up against you as much as she could through the barn wall. Daisy is an absolute love. Period. Full Stop. Get ready to fall in love.
