Rescued: 1/28/2023 Transferred from our friends at Maple Hill Farm & Rescue in Maine when they were downsizing their program. Shearl was part of the “Flying Sofas Drill Team” with her companion Pearl, who passed away a few years ago.

Medical Needs: Past squamous cell carcinoma in right eye (cured), and has sensitive eyes so she wears mask on sunny/windy days. Teeth are worn smooth so minimal chewing ability.
Special Needs: Chopped hay (no long-stem hay) available 24/7 and gets her grain soaked. Eats breakfast, lunch, dinner, and night check meals. Shearl is blanketed throughout the entire winter. She does have some arthritis which is controlled with daily antiinflmmatory medication (Equioxx tablets once daily).
